Status: Resolved; deployment serialization, renewable workload identity, and stale pool counters remain follow-ups
TheWell backend commits reached Azure DevOps but dev deployment runs 24740 and 24743 stopped before any OpenShift mutation. DevPool run 24729 uploaded 108 documents and retained 22 existing documents, but reported only 53 of 130 completed after the processing queue drained and then polled until timeout.
oc login because the dev deployment credential in Azure variable group KVANT-AI-deployment-variables had expired.completed < expected as active processing even when queued = 0. The backend permanently removes a queued file after a non-retryable error or the retry ceiling, so 77 terminal failures were misreported as work in progress for 174 additional polls.thewell-backend-direct-copy; run 24751 deleted that pod while run 24750 was executing in it, causing 24750 to fail with container is not created or running. Cleanup restored the deployment and 24751 completed successfully. The existing CI batch: true setting does not serialize a manual run against an automatic run, so an environment-level or repository-level deployment lock remains necessary.DataPools.DocumentCount and ChunkCount columns remain at zero; user-facing listing endpoints calculate live counts, but the operator script's final summary still prints the stale columns.
