The control node crossed kubelet's ephemeral-storage eviction threshold. EventHorizon Postgres, Qdrant, and application pods were evicted, producing HTTP 503 responses. Other control-node workloads were also evicted.
/home/ax_julian/temp used about 78 GiB; 30 temporary Cargo target/ trees accounted for 45.1 GiB.resourceName="ephemeral-storage" and evicted pods.drg-k8s-worker-01; their build storage is separate from these control-host local Cargo artifacts.Each target was validated as an immediate child build directory under /home/ax_julian/temp, with a corresponding Cargo manifest, and checked not to be a symbolic link or mount point. cargo clean --manifest-path ... --target-dir ... removed compiler outputs only. No source tree or persistent application data was deleted.
The cleanup reclaimed 45.1 GiB. The root filesystem stabilized at about 65% used with 85 GiB available. Kubelet changed the control node to DiskPressure=False at 2026-08-12 23:44 UTC.
