User authorization: implement the supervised one-case plan, using normal engine selection rather than a manually selected issue, then pause for review before another case. Scoped administrator engine repair authority applies. General automation and other projects remain paused; TheWell production remains protected. No Gitea issue mutation, paid fallback, new identity or permission expansion is authorized by this work.
Engine PR6825 integrates requirement commit 4ba3e34e26bec3d43e8fefdfb8c32bd0f86e87ca and implementation 1b99fc7a7baa9a88c496b96c840fc0938de9af30 into dev 1fa1a135b538c7c6a115d4d75591edf0f491407a. Worker validation passed1481 native tests plus the isolated PostgreSQL pilot guard suite and format/check gates. Candidate4167 succeeded at that exact source; automatic promotion PR6826 integrated its tree into main b4c40ffa0f1f5874fc0bf7b3e751aa35e982e5b5.
Promotion attempts4169–4172 failed before application mutation because the accepted candidate's changed immutable production configuration lacked preparation. The live engine remains candidate 1d30dab30b96f575328ec44e1bd5f1e0f127b1c4-4160-1. This is not deployed pilot behavior. The normal bounded retry exhausted three recovery dispatches and retains failure evidence.
Using the repository immutable-configuration procedure and verified Kubernetes context kubernetes-admin@kubernetes at https://192.168.1.9:6443, the administrator rendered the exact accepted source and instruction digest 8a7099fa2c9ba56acd3e12332c62ebb7299c2aafcf02b81ca9e5fcce3dc72a12. Compared current immutable maps: environment data is identical, and root TOML differs only by the authorized AUTOCODER_SUPERVISED_PILOT_ENABLED=true. BACKGROUND_AUTOMATION, IMPLEMENTATION_WORKERS and REQUIREMENTS_AUTOMATION stay false. Canonical instruction map is immutable and its manifest aggregate digest matches.
Reused verified immutable env map autocoder-env-7bc29c35a9e817b5a712c5d30c6c532d49a1da386df3043dba7e1d7fbd16a1c9; created and read-back verified immutable root map autocoder-root-40499b56aa18b80f2c22114be90d6dc6f434842066fe9a52d604f80c9fd6d6c9. A resourceVersion-tested metadata patch sets Deployment autocoder-engine annotation autocoder.dev/prepared-configuration-sha256=a9d7c98adee617aafd4fd77afa7a8fe239f7329eacb8a39a797367c46ccb9e6f. Verified the entire Deployment spec is unchanged: no process, pod template, Secret, identity or stored data changed during preparation. Existing promotion identity permissions remain unchanged.
Next: retry exact normal promotion while main tree still equals accepted candidate; register its immutable run and end turn. Verify actual backend/frontend rollout/provenance and global stops, publish the matching full detached worker image through authorized CI, then arm one persisted pilot for azure-devops:4f0f0c9a-024b-43f0-9ee0-3de550130f03. No pilot is armed and no first case selected yet. Completion requires normal selector evidence, independent review, exact TEST receipt and original-outcome behavior acceptance, followed by awaiting_review without selecting a second case.
Rollback preparation: restore the previous prepared annotation 135c1e6a7a389f1aa7eaa39720644ba26ac7fe5fa807f850eb3b865f42e007e1 with resourceVersion fencing if selecting the prior candidate. Retain immutable maps, history and work. Application rollback follows the configured candidate promotion snapshots; do not manually bypass the repaired delivery engine.
The blocking host resume repair is independently deployed and behaviorally accepted. Prior accumulated runtime has a preserved recording gap and is not treated as zero. Task artifacts/checkpoint remain under the bounded administrator temp directory and existing worker-local isolated cache.
Before dispatch, main advanced to 90fc40703f37ddaa738190e6f3958d6d94642a02 through reviewed promotion PR6828, source 7c09e6946c08b326773aab21dc1d9a41a625bf9f, successful candidate4174. The earlier pilot repair is an ancestor and the exact source tree matches current main. The obsolete retry was rejected locally before any dispatch. New promotion4176 failed before production claim for the same missing preparation.
Compared exact current accepted source against live immutable bytes: root changes are the pilot opt-in plus reviewed subscription-price reporting metadata from PR6827; environment changes only that same reporting metadata. It changes no spend, admission, account identity, capacity or stop setting. Global/background, implementation and requirements flags remain false; instruction and runtime binding source are unchanged.
Created/reused and read-back verified immutable env map autocoder-env-ffc8ff25b432862ae2db88b528e0f09b9b6a05facea52a096e248a47209b77a7 and root map autocoder-root-7549e1fde3a9da1004df5f4e3731ee237767366258601620554793ac044ef3e0. ResourceVersion-tested metadata update prepares contract dabe1b06ed5ae8583389ea2761ef3cda15600bdb8235982d39d8014454ac7618; again verified the entire running Deployment spec unchanged. Candidate-source excerpts were rendered in a bounded task temp directory and removed immediately. Retained earlier immutable maps and all failure evidence.
Normal promotion now follows current candidate 7c09e6946c08b326773aab21dc1d9a41a625bf9f-4174-1. If an existing active recovery run already owns it, watch that exact run; otherwise dispatch one exact normal retry and register it. Deployment and first-case acceptance remain unproven.
After configuration preparation the normal automatic recovery run4178 (internal9321) deployed current candidate4174, production execution 9321-e2e92423-2f5a-4ee0-a80e-99cf798764e3, at2026-09-30T19:32:52Z. Our overlapping retry4179 was rejected by the automatic authorization endpoint with HTTP409 before deployment, preserving the first execution's ownership. No additional retry is needed.
Live release ledger is production_live; backend Deployment generation2621 and frontend generation783 are observed and each has one ready/updated replica. Live backend pulled immutable digest caf4bf6a3853ca99ef9faa5e7ebff1ec0dc09e03c49efdded9b95c000c0003e2, frontend digest 2f189955727e2f24483e61d62f63a820ef20fb69b50c6c05102d13a9ceb33f7b. Both annotate source 7c09e6946c08b326773aab21dc1d9a41a625bf9f and candidate 7c09e6946c08b326773aab21dc1d9a41a625bf9f-4174-1; the source includes the reviewed pilot implementation. Immutable configuration references match the prepared contract. Bound environment retains all three general pause flags false and operator chat true. A deployed-binary pilot-start preview returned execute:false and normal selection for the exact TheWell SuperProject, establishing config/instruction admission without arming a case.
The selected worker image still points to old digest b007f8db6907eba646c98bdb4e3db00383c460d09f8aa15e081b6ebe4b8f2750. Publish the full image from the current production source through publish-worker-image.yaml and verify actual worker rotation before arming the pilot. No first case is selected yet. User independently confirmed the automatic chat resume worked; its odd raw event presentation is a separate bounded UI follow-up, not a reason to interrupt this pilot delivery.
Worker publication4180 succeeded for exact main90fc40703f37ddaa738190e6f3958d6d94642a02; selected immutable image sha256:ef0d97f53967b6884dd336de8eead374b1a51a3644eb6f91e1dfa42f2fdea765 was observed ready in all five operator workers on the authorized worker node. The pilot source and root opt-in are present in that image.
Pilot c98913a3-745c-47fb-a104-844acf905a06 was armed through the service-account CLI. The normal requirements selector chose Qdrant-Database member54e50699-4b60-467a-a9b9-74300c1b04cd, requirement qdrant-authenticated-service, root task superproject-requirements-1790797696653692858, change set sp-requirements-1790797696653692858, using existing priority/admission-age ordering. No issue ID was supplied. Actual task routing is gpt-6.1-sol/high on the existing subscription account.
An independent route audit found Qdrant had no exact TEST route/receipt adapter. Pilot is paused at generation3/case_generation1 for that engine repair. The already-running plan finished successfully; its task is queued with pilot-finalization-pending, preserving its workspace and completed command result without a successor claim or model replay. Planned project changes repair a stale Secret test and add rotation/redeployment acceptance. Actual TEST behavior remains unverified.
Engine requirement revision 19eaf89c is pushed separately. Receipt bridge implementation is in /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-qdrant-receipt-20260930, pending worker validation and independent review. It binds Qdrant pipeline352 to its actual Deploy stage and a bounded observed-workload artifact; maintenance-only success cannot count as deployment. The captured implementation task will add the producer through the normal project workflow. Resume the same pilot only after verified engine and worker delivery. Preserve all global stops and TheWell production protection; do not select a replacement case or call next.
Delegated route audit used gpt-6-sol/medium, about five active minutes, with no mutation. Adapter patch is under parent review; unavailable allowance and prior accumulated runtime remain recorded as gaps, not zero. Resume presentation remains a bounded separate follow-up.
Engine repair exact head 6366a089ae12f4e9f6b0537094a84c74e93e3e10 follows separate pushed requirement 19eaf89c. On verified rust-3 dind/NVMe worker execution, the full native suite passed; final focused Qdrant tests passed after the current-plan scope correction; all three isolated REQ-0161 database contract tests passed; formatting and production binary cargo check passed. Existing unrelated compiler warnings remain. Bounded logs are in /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-qdrant-receipt-evidence-20260930. Disposable validation containers, network and source volume were removed; existing isolated cache remains task-owned pending final engine recovery.
Independent read-only gpt-6-sol/medium review accepted exact head and clean final diff. Its captured-workspace scope finding was corrected with current persisted project, intent_version and plan equality plus existing target/write checks. Receipt capture precedes acceptance admission. The initial delegated gpt-6-luna/medium migration fixture was rejected by parent review and repaired before actual database validation; subscription allowance and child runtime measurements are unavailable. Approximate parent active runtime for this turn is40min; prior cumulative recording gap remains preserved. No paid API use or capacity expansion occurred.
Next is exact branch CI and reviewed dev integration, normal candidate promotion, matching worker-image publication and verified rollout. Then resume the same pilot at generation3 so its saved planning result finalizes without another model call. No Qdrant TEST artifact or authentication/rotation/redeployment outcome is claimed yet; pilot remains paused and all existing scope stops apply.
Branch validation4182 succeeded at reviewed head 6366a089ae12f4e9f6b0537094a84c74e93e3e10. PR6829 was merged into configured dev as 1a27094bc80506a1b77108e83a9073b0607ddc04; a fresh provider read and fetched tree comparison verified the integrated tree equals the reviewed head. Normal immutable candidate workflow4183 (internal9326) started for that exact dev revision. It is the next scheduled wait, followed by actual deployment verification and matching worker-image publication. No pilot resume or project mutation was performed. The same selected case remains paused at generation3 until those checks pass.
Candidate4183 succeeded and normal production promotion deployed engine source 1a27094bc80506a1b77108e83a9073b0607ddc04 at2026-09-30T20:49:28Z, candidate 1a27094bc80506a1b77108e83a9073b0607ddc04-4183-1, production execution 9328-5e6c58b0-0f2c-4050-a799-4074fc10b129. Current main is 38feceee30eed05e20fd1c8dc27634fc21b8a7c2; fetched trees match exact integrated dev. The existing prepared immutable configuration contract remains unchanged.
Backend generation2623 and frontend generation784 are observed and ready, with actual pulled digests ac76ca63e2c281fca8db023af4ad74b249c1d2798c8d64ab7e6d902774ec6256 and 6f3d03df3cc19cabdc81f0060896c8cbdc22cc4b238ef1a4f7e6f5c4d99ba8f9. External deployment-provenance endpoint independently reports exact candidate/source/images and responding health. Live immutable root retains supervised pilot=true; runtime BACKGROUND/IMPLEMENTATION/REQUIREMENTS flags remain false and operator chat true.
Actual migrated Qdrant member route is352, Deploy (base manifests: qdrant, gateways, etc.), test_branch. Same pilot remains paused generation3/case1, same selection and change set; root task remains queued/pilot-finalization-pending with exit_status0. The full matching worker image was dispatched through publish-worker-image.yaml for the verified production source. Verify publication and pulled worker source before resuming that exact saved case. Original Qdrant TEST behavior acceptance remains pending.
Worker publication4186 succeeded at main 38feceee30eed05e20fd1c8dc27634fc21b8a7c2. Engine generation2624 is observed ready and selects immutable worker digest b4917bb284c425b0f97e1f998155b6c122032c469af7ffc3fb268982ca25f476; all five operator workers actually pulled it on the authorized NVMe worker node. Source inspection in the worker image confirms the Qdrant receipt parser and captured-implementation evidence helper.
The previous paused pilot pod remained on the prior image in CrashLoopBackOff, rejecting disabled/expired scope before any task claim. Verified all its pilot work was queued with the completed root result preserved and no running task; deleted only that disposable pod, retaining shared workspaces and database evidence. Normal engine reconciliation recreated it on the new digest after CLI resume. This is scoped administrator engine recovery, not manual Qdrant delivery. Bounded follow-up: the pilot worker should handle paused idle scope and stale-image reconciliation without crash loops; preserve active tasks and account identity. This operational follow-up is not implemented here.
CLI resume with expected generation3 and repair:qdrant-test-receipt-bridge-verified-20260930 transitioned the same pilot to running generation4/case_generation1 with unchanged requirement/repository/change set. Normal worker finalized the preserved root plan at21:02:02 and admitted/claimed implementation task superproject-requirements-1790797696653692858-implementation at21:02:04, gpt-6.1-sol/high on the existing subscription account. The retained-finalization code path returns before model execution and adds no model usage; root result completed successfully with original thread and exit_status0. Actual selected Qdrant implementation evidence file contains the shared exact-stage/receipt producer contract. The normal implementation is running; review, dev merge, TEST receipt and original behavior acceptance remain pending. General automation flags remain false.
The normal Qdrant implementation completed its local changes on preserved branch sp-requirements-1790797696653692858, first source de9415b26ba2cbffe3d8de9d761d41bb9dca3c94. The single automatic artifact repair removed an unsupported top-level execution field and produced b885f4a74b53fdbefcf5f00d7b0abdc3f9c220a5. The next validator correctly rejected a revised acceptance test without new bounded source provenance. Task is blocked, the same pilot is blocked at generation5/case_generation1, and the original thread/workspace/usage are retained. Worker reports45 local tests passed; no project push, independent review, dev merge or TEST deployment occurred.
Root cause in the engine: the implementation goal omitted the shared authoritative JSONL contract, and resumed artifact recovery read the first appended error rather than validating the current retained member checkout. Engine repair PR6831 targets dev, exact source dd697dbaa26b6c7edb4c2ba602f77696d1d49f77. Existing REQ-0003 supplies the durable schema/provenance intent; no new intent is added. The fix shares the contract with implementation/recovery and injects the current validator diagnostic only while the current artifact is invalid. It preserves the existing validator, bounded repair marker, prior evidence, task identity, thread, accounting and authorization checks.
On verified rust-3 dind/NVMe worker execution: format/check passed, the real-Git stale-error/current-provenance regression passed, and the full native suite passed (488 library,982 engine,24 Gitea MCP,1 Kubernetes MCP tests;109 existing ignored tests). Source checksum matches the tested copy. Independent gpt-6-sol/medium review accepted unchanged two-file diff SHA-256 8d2e353b3a03be33e5d1f7d7118b5f3ee2b64916b9c15bcb23e003a1148e8cd0. Parent corrected member-path and valid-result handling during implementation review; child reported source-only completion and parent owns validation/delivery. Subscription allowance and exact child runtime are unavailable. Prior cumulative runtime gap remains; approximately10 additional parent active minutes for this continuation, excluding scheduled waits. No paid usage or capacity expansion. Disposable test container/source volume removed after bounded logs retained under /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-contract-evidence-20260930; shared task cache remains bounded pending recovery.
Next: exact branch CI, unchanged reviewed dev integration, normal engine deployment and matching worker publication. After verified rollout, queue the exact blocked implementation with supported resume-provider-artifact-once while the pilot is blocked, then resume pilot generation5 so no stale worker can claim it. No fresh thread or second case. Original authentication, rotation rejection, redeployment persistence and normal Backend gRPC acceptance remain pending. Existing TEST actor discovery found a possible normal startup deep-check/health observation but no verified current TEST backend observation route; pipeline success alone is insufficient. All general automation stops and TheWell production protection remain effective.
Branch validation4187 succeeded at reviewed source dd697dbaa26b6c7edb4c2ba602f77696d1d49f77. PR6831 merged into configured dev as a9f3ada1401c011da3ab1efdc7c81b3bbb5bd772. Fresh provider reads and fetched Git comparison verified the merged tree exactly equals the reviewed source (tree 9b443cf9a31c12bab3e772820ab291f971c71c6d). Normal immutable candidate workflow4188 (internal9331) is running for that exact dev revision; registered watch73 is the scheduled wait. No completed run was polled.
Fresh database evidence still shows the same pilot blocked generation5/case_generation1 and implementation blocked with original result thread 01a0f41f-fb21-7953-9b46-d1cf0526c33e. Bound environment still has BACKGROUND, IMPLEMENTATION_WORKERS and REQUIREMENTS_AUTOMATION false. No project resume or TheWell deployment occurred. Continue after candidate evidence with actual engine deployment, matching worker rollout, then supported same-task queue/resume and original TEST behavior acceptance. Approximate additional parent active runtime3min; prior cumulative gap remains, scheduled wait excluded.

The same pilot remains blocked generation5/case1, same implementation/result thread; no TheWell resume or deployment occurred.
Dispatched matching worker publication4191 (internal9334) through publish-worker-image.yaml at exact main 4b912d654cec024ba0f732b1895acb410cbb0930, source input a9f3ada1401c011da3ab1efdc7c81b3bbb5bd772; registered scheduled wait. Next verify actual matching worker digest/source and rollout before supported same-task queue/resume. Original TEST behavior acceptance and stop at awaiting_review remain pending. Approximately3 additional parent active minutes; prior cumulative recording gap preserved and scheduled wait excluded.
Worker publication4191 succeeded at main4b912d654cec024ba0f732b1895acb410cbb0930. Engine generation2626 ready selects immutable worker e0546108ea6a273beedd4a787e15ad3b3633e13f1dcad2035f596c5c7b686316; all five operator workers pulled it ready on the worker node. Source helper/contract verified in the image. After confirming only completed/blocked pilot tasks and the clean retained b885 checkout, removed only the old disposable crash-loop pilot pod. Supported artifact resume queued the original task while pilot remained blocked and retained thread01a0f41f-fb21-7953-9b46-d1cf0526c33e. Pilot resume attempted from an operator worker was correctly rejected for lack of authenticated engine identity, without transition; the existing engine service account successfully resumed generation5 to6. No identity/permission expansion.
Normal reconciliation recreated the pilot pod on matching e054 digest and claimed the original implementation at21:58:56, then blocked before model execution: persisted SuperProject workspace fingerprint mismatch. Pilot is now blocked generation7/case1; change set failed; original checkout remains untouched. No new model execution, project push or TEST deployment occurred.
Verified causes: preparation compares a legacy member checkpoint against the SuperProject root; periodic progress checkpoint predates the final commit; generic preparation failure erases prior result reply/thread/exit while original task thread and usage survive. A read-only reconstruction proves SHA256(task kind + historical de9415 HEAD + binary diff de9415→b885) exactly equals persisted fingerprint73ddb2f223367ff604e8b7c251a25dddc1214259618347f7d79611a413e662d8. Thus the saved content is unchanged, but its final commit/scope are not represented correctly. Existing resume also demands erased result_thread_id, which must safely fall back to retained thread_id.
Focused engine repair is in worktree /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-workspace-resume-20260930, branch repair/pilot-workspace-resume-20260930, baselinea9f3ada. Delegated configured gpt-6-astra/medium RCA/implementation; actual model telemetry and child elapsed/allowance unavailable. Parent owns review, worker validation and integration. Preserve strict changed-workspace protection: only clean descendant byte-identical legacy checkpoints may normalize, with ownership fencing and retained proof; full-workspace mismatches stay blocked. No direct SQL recovery or manual project edit. Original behavior acceptance remains pending.
Focused repair PR6833 targets dev at exact source fe0c3bd3d365ccd9d8120ddd008191323b559f9f, branch repair/pilot-workspace-resume-20260930, baselinea9f3ada. Legacy member checkpoints are compared against the captured execution member; a clean descendant must reproduce the exact historical content fingerprint before normalization. Captured branch and effective fetch/push destinations are checked before fingerprint acceptance; URL credentials are not logged. Old/new checkpoints and HEADs remain in bounded append-only task audit (64KiB), with worker/claim-generation/expected-checkpoint CAS. Full-workspace mismatches, external bytes, unrelated ancestry, untracked work and destination/branch changes remain blocked without Git mutation.
Provider exit and engine finalization now capture final checkpoints without resetting progress or usage. Lost claims cannot overwrite newer task state. Dedicated preparation failure preserves prior reply/thread/exit/usage/cost while retaining existing change-set and monitor bookkeeping. Supported artifact resume uses the existing original thread even when an earlier preparation failure erased result_thread_id. No fresh-thread grant, counter reset or permission expansion.
Provenance trace: root-only resume guard was introduced by08fb85116c6e717bbc34d0da7d222daefdb766b7 on2026-09-29. Its retained regression tested full-workspace/root preservation; legacy member checkpoints and final commits after the periodic tick were not covered. Periodic progress sampling dates to earlier execution code. This identifies source and missing coverage; author reasoning and historical conversation were not recovered and are not inferred.
On verified rust-3 dind/NVMe execution, final formatting passed; real-Git recovery/rejection scenarios passed; isolated PostgreSQL lifecycle test using actual migrations passed; full native suite passed1496 tests with110 existing ignored tests. Source checksums match tested code. Initial validation found and corrected formatting, test JSON decoding, required environment-branch fixture fields, and an existing source-order test's obsolete finalizer reference. Independent gpt-6-sol/medium review first rejected origin/branch and same-worker stale-claim gaps; those were fixed with tests. Final accepted diff SHA256 b3d663b6f36ceffb0b4d32b63d7777ad0fbd79d6c5e6b009531f60026cb66671. Configured gpt-6-astra/medium handled RCA/implementation; actual model telemetry/allowance unavailable. Approximate additional parent active runtime25min, child20min and review3min, excluding idle waits; prior cumulative recording gap preserved. Progress reassessment supports continuing the same case because each reproduced defect has a bounded tested repair; original end-to-end outcome is not yet achieved.
Bounded validation logs including fixture/test failures retained at /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-workspace-evidence-20260930. Disposable validation/test database containers, source volume and internal network removed; bounded shared build cache remains task-owned until recovery completes. General BACKGROUND/IMPLEMENTATION/REQUIREMENTS remain false, operator chat true. Same pilot remains blocked generation7/case1 and retains its original task/thread; no project resume or TEST deployment occurred.
Matching worker publication4196 (internal9339) was dispatched through the normal workflow at exact mained55bd39, source input6909465d, and registered for scheduled waiting. Next verify actual worker source/digest rollout before queueing the same blocked task while pilot remains blocked, then resume generation7. Original behavior acceptance and awaiting_review stop remain required. Approximately2 additional parent active minutes; prior cumulative runtime gap preserved and pipeline waiting excluded.
Worker publication4196 succeeded at main ed55bd391b67155b9506457f4b30f0688d12dd1c. All five operator workers and the selected pilot pulled immutable image sha256:038d83e0a2c05b96216a40bec8ecd38f23d1991b607df0a3c275c14ade830c52 on the worker host. Supported task resume queued the preserved implementation at22:41:50Z; authenticated pilot resume advanced generation7→8 at22:42:11Z without changing case1, selection, account, change set, plan, branch or workspace.
Normal claim at22:42:30Z proved the legacy checkpoint bytes, branch and origin, then durably recorded checkpoint normalization at22:42:30.962845Z from de9415b2 to retained clean b885f4a7. The original provider thread could not resume: app-server returned no rollout found for 01a0f41f-fb21-7953-9b46-d1cf0526c33e. The existing single bounded recovery used persisted objective/workspace in thread 01a0f47b-eb8c-77e3-b6ab-b99223e5025b, retaining recovery count1. This establishes preserved-case recovery, not original-thread execution or hidden reasoning recovery.
The worker added compact approved-plan provenance in commit 5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442; deterministic JSONL/transition checks passed. All45 unittest checks passed. Finalization then correctly failed the approved plan's additional python3 -B -m pytest -q: the immutable worker lacks pytest. Five governed-deployment function tests require that runner and unittest omits them. No project revision was pushed, PR created, merged or deployed. The same pilot is safely blocked atgeneration9 before independent review; no second case started.
The next scoped engine repair adds distribution-provided python3-pytest and explicit python3-yaml to the versioned image, checks imports at build and pytest from the non-root login shell, and verifies the original repository checks through worker-host execution. Existing REQ-0106/0111 already require durable verified repository toolchains. Worktree /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-python-validation-tools-20260930, branch repair/pilot-python-validation-tools-20260930; independent read-only review accepted diff 600a1fa3c7052e685583c29fedaa77d6151368637b00edf266002eeafa87e2b8. Parent owns delivery and actual same-case acceptance. All global pauses and protected TheWell production remain effective.
Correction to the preceding test count: finalizer unittest discovery executes40 cases; the five additional governed-deployment function tests bring pytest discovery to45. A disposable Debian bookworm validation container on the authorized rust-3 worker/NVMe installed distribution python3-pytest7.2.1 and PyYAML6.0, verified imports from a non-root login shell, and passed both exact approved commands against a read-only copy of preserved commit5584f2d. The container was removed; no package was installed into a managed task pod or controller.
The supported resume command previously accepted blocked artifacts only, while this mandatory validation failure leaves the original implementation failed. The repair therefore includes resume-provider-artifact-once <task-id> --validation-replay --execute. It queues only one current failed single-member implementation with failed local checks, no publication, unchanged plan/intent, a clean saved member checkpoint and current confirmed development write authority. Task/change-set CAS, existing member serialization and row-locked current project/member authority retain all other work and decisions. Fresh-thread requests cannot use this path.
The normal worker verifies the captured HEAD and clean bytes, revalidates the requirement artifact, and reruns every approved validation command before normal secret-blind publication. It starts no provider turn. Dedicated claim-fenced completion preserves the prior model reply/thread/streams/exit status/usage/cost on successful validation and repeated failure. Failure bookkeeping locks the owning task before touching the current change set; stale/renewed claims cannot overwrite it. Existing finalization rechecks current development write authority before push and PR creation. Independent review and original TEST acceptance remain unchanged.
Independent configured gpt-6-sol/medium review accepted exact final diff 488bcfc798a2efbb75e70edc47771b9aa4cc6fdf083adcc56a4618e9034fab06. Configured gpt-6-luna/medium implemented the bounded recovery path; parent corrected module/API references, PostgreSQL fixture typing, evidence/fencing tests and live-authority guards. Actual child model telemetry and subscription allowance unavailable; no savings claim. Existing REQ-0001/0106/0111 cover retryable preserved delivery and immutable repository toolchains, so no new durable product intent was added.
On worker-host execution, both isolated PostgreSQL artifact/replay tests pass, including the original blocked-artifact path, unpublished validation failure admission, retained result/usage/cost, revoked write access, repeated queue CAS and stale/renewed completion claims. First compile and fixture failures are retained alongside passing logs in /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-python-evidence-20260930; the first binary-target filter compiled code but selected zero library tests and was corrected before any acceptance claim. Full native suite is running, followed by reviewed source CI/dev integration/engine and matching worker rollout. The live case remains blocked generation9/case1 at5584f2d, with2763105 accumulated tokens and one fresh-thread recovery; no project publication, deployment or second selection occurred.
Approximate additional parent active25min, implementation10min and review5min at this progress checkpoint; prior cumulative accounting gap remains preserved, scheduled waiting excluded. Continue same-case recovery because reproduced prerequisite and lifecycle defects now have independent source review and actual database evidence. Full delivery and original authentication/rotation/redeployment/backend-gRPC behavior remain unverified.
Worker-host full native suite passed with the repository's canonical fixture wrapper:488 library,983 engine,24 Gitea MCP and1 Kubernetes MCP primary tests,111 ignored environment/database checks; both relevant isolated database recovery tests were separately executed and passed. The initial bare invocation lacked the required canonical instruction fixture; its failure was classified and corrected by using scripts/run-native-tests-with-canonical-fixture.sh, without changing source. Formatting passed and six code/Dockerfile checksums match the tested worker copy. Disposable validation container, PostgreSQL container, internal network and source volume were removed; bounded shared task build cache remains owned until original recovery finishes.

While pilot remains blocked generation9, queue original implementation with --validation-replay --execute; then resume the same pilot with expectedgeneration9 using authenticated engine identity. Expected retained project HEAD5584f2d, case1 and usage/fresh-thread count remain unchanged; validation replay must consume no provider turn. Fresh DB reads retain pilotblocked generation9/case1 and original implementationfailed at preserved5584f2d; no second selection or TheWell publication occurred. Existing global stops and protected production remain effective. Goal is null and no later pause/cancellation exists in the current instructions. Approximately2 additional parent active minutes; prior cumulative accounting gap preserved, scheduled wait excluded.
Terminal watch79 reports candidate4198 failed in deploy_elected; its candidate, finalize and main-integration jobs succeeded. Retained job20299 evidence shows TEST rollout completed at23:27:57Z, then candidate control returned HTTP503 during the concurrent production rollout. The bounded three-request reporter exhausted its attempts in about3s. Failure reporting then raised ValueError because GITHUB_RUN_ATTEMPT was empty; the upload artifact also has an empty attempt suffix. Owner-fenced TEST snapshot restoration completed.
The normal engine recovery path subsequently deployed this same immutable candidate successfully. Ledger events show production observed_healthy at2026-09-30T23:28:32.525007Z and TEST observed_healthy at23:29:22.131915Z. This is scheduled work, not verified worker delivery. Next: verify matching pulled worker and Python prerequisites, use guarded deterministic validation replay on the original failed implementation, then resume pilot generation9/case1 through independent review and TheWell dev/TEST acceptance. Pilot remains blocked9; all three general automation flags remain false, operator chat remains true. No TheWell publication, production mutation or second-case admission occurred.

Both runtime replay/finalization source checksums match the independently reviewed source. Retained Qdrant checkout remains clean at5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442.
Verified pilot blocked generation9/case1 and no queued/running pilot tasks. The stale pilot pod was CrashLoopBackOff on its prior image because disabled scope rejects startup. Deleted only this disposable inactive pod, retaining the shared checkout and DB history. Supported validation-replay queued the original failed implementation at23:46:01.685006Z; authenticated CLI resume at23:46:14.394066Z advanced the same pilot to running generation10/case1. Normal reconciliation recreated pilot pod uid6fb15c82-65f4-4d71-a9d3-6069e0740bcd on the matching digest, ready without restarts.
The normal engine claimed the original task23:46:35.643611Z and completed deterministic validation/publication at23:46:49.436265Z. All approved commands passed:40 unittest cases and45 pytest cases (3.47s). This proves replay consumed no provider turn and preserved prior evidence. Original branch/revision was published through normal engine finalization, opening Qdrant implementation PR6694 targeting dev. Change set is awaiting_dev_validation; task awaiting_merge. No manual product push/merge/deployment.
Normal engine admitted independent read-only task pilot-review-sp-requirements-1790797696653692858-5584f2dc227d at23:47:11Z and claimed it23:47:12.907762Z. It is running under the existing configured gpt-6.1-sol/high subscription route; review has not yet approved development merge. Original dev/TEST delivery, exact receipt, authentication/rotation/redeployment/normal Backend gRPC behavior acceptance and awaiting_review stop remain pending. Existing global stops and TheWell production protection remain in force. Same selected source, requirement, plan, account, change set, workspace and case are retained.
Normal read-only review task pilot-review-sp-requirements-1790797696653692858-5584f2dc227d completed at2026-09-30T23:50:30.734408Z, exit_status0, verdictreject, requirements_satisfiedfalse, riskhigh. It independently passed40 unittest and45 pytest checks but rejected the actual eight-file diff: saved plan expressly excludes pipeline behavior, while implementation adds TEST receipt stamping/observation/publication and producer tests required by the engine. It also lacked Backend source in its one-member checkout and could not run the saved oc/schema prerequisite. Its reported146s review retains585586 total tokens and thread01a0f4b7-243f-7411-95fd-a99a9702ae7e; retained immutable result is not erased or overwritten. Pilot correctly blocked atgeneration11/case1 before dev merge. PR6694 remains active targeting dev; implementation candidate5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442 and all previous evidence remain intact.
Read-only RCA identifies engine causes, not a blanket approval waiver: receipt contract from source6366a089 was injected only in task_codex_goal.rs during implementation and never reconciled with saved planning scope; original pilot source1b99fc7 creates a selected-member-only review workspace, losing explicitly named read-only Backend/Documentation evidence; its review prompt omits the existing BeforeMerge/AfterDeployment distinction and advertises arbitrary environment:string while validator requires exactlytest. Review identity omits intentVersion, so a simple resume would reuse the terminal rejection. Existing shared REQ-0135 and self-improvement review guidance already require staged verification; no new strategic intent is needed.
Repair owned by administrator: worktree/home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-review-handoff-20260930, branchrepair/pilot-review-handoff-20260930, fresh devbaselinebbc2104a06c720313ffddebf7a2202fad5d1c5d8. Configured gpt-6-astra/medium performed read-only RCA and now implements an explicit rejected-review variant in the existing native plan-revision path. The concrete recovery must atomically preserve old intent snapshot/results/accounting/rejection, retain original candidate branch/PR/outcomes/case, and admit a semantic read-only same-case planner with receipt prerequisite plus exact read-only dependency context. Revised implementation must repair/revalidate against its new handoff and receive a fresh independent review whose identity includes intent and context. Source-only checks belong before merge; every original deployed acceptance outcome remains mandatory afterward. Missing oc/schema validation is an actual capability gap until a justified equivalent or existing authorized route is established. No agent is instructed to approve the current diff or ignore the rejection.
Fresh documented host-actor read verifies Backend devfd373989cd7a0f3376f68b52ab187ee085c35a59 still matches the saved plan, TEST157ad86a023dba5122993c5be68178fea4a826d2. Existing Azure PAT read access remains valid, but it is not application authentication. Existing Backend observationOnly captures redacted deployment/config/file evidence, not actual Qdrant gRPC behavior. Original authentication, old-key rejection, replacement persistence and normal-client acceptance remain unverified. Protected TheWell production and all general automation stops remain effective; no second case or manual product delivery.
Worker validation route was reverified on rust-3 dind atdrg-k8s-worker-01.auth.home.lan; NVMe has484Gi free/48% used. No controller build, new identity, permission expansion or paid fallback. Parent owns actual database/native checks, independent source review, dev integration, normal engine/matching-worker delivery and same-case acceptance. Child actual model telemetry/allowance remain unavailable; preserve prior cumulative accounting gaps.
The independent rejection remains intact. Pilot c98913a3-745c-47fb-a104-844acf905a06 was read back as blocked, generation 11, case 1, with no queued/running pilot task. Original change set sp-requirements-1790797696653692858 remains awaiting_dev_validation, original Qdrant candidate 5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442 and PR 6694 remain the selected work; no product dev/TEST delivery or behavioral acceptance is claimed.
Reviewed engine repair PR 6837, source 11acd053078fb93c77bbeeea1b3189ca46793763, tree 0438f8e3e5bc6987da22805b2ca7dee6fafaea79, adds guarded supervised-pilot-revise-rejected-review admission through the existing native plan-revision path. It preserves intent history, original results/thread/accounting/rejection/branch/PR and the same case; semantic planning resolves the receipt prerequisite against original intent before ordinary implementation and new independent review. Planning inputs remain immutable through review. Missing/revoked enrolled dependencies or moved heads block; publication rechecks the exact governed PR target and acceptance tasks bind their current context digest. Original acceptance stages, outcomes and full after-deployment procedures remain mandatory.
Worker-host validation passed on drg-k8s-worker-01.auth.home.lan: formatting; 490 library, 986 engine, 24 Gitea MCP and 1 Kubernetes MCP native tests (112 DB tests intentionally ignored in that suite); real isolated PostgreSQL t_req_0161_database_rejected_review_revision_preserves_case_and_rejects_stale_or_revoked_admission passed. Actual compile defects were corrected, and the sparse DB fixture was canonicalized without weakening the exact outcomes CAS. Independent Sol/medium source audit found four guard defects and accepted their corrections. Astra/medium supplied RCA/implementation and fixture correction; actual model/allowance/token telemetry unavailable, no efficiency claim.
Disposable validation containers, source volume and internal network were removed; shared bounded build cache retained. Branch-validation run 4203 is registered as watch 81 for exact source 11acd053078fb93c77bbeeea1b3189ca46793763 (180-minute deadline). This repair is submitted, not yet integrated or deployed. After terminal evidence: integrate unchanged reviewed source into dev, follow normal engine candidate deployment and matching worker image, then execute supported same-case semantic recovery against generation 11 and original rejected review. Complete original DEV/TEST behavior acceptance before awaiting_review; do not select another case.
Runtime accounting: prior cumulative gap remains explicit. This continuation is approximately 55 parent-active minutes (including pre-compaction work), with approximately 25 Astra-active and 6 Sol-active minutes; estimates include correction attempts and exclude scheduled pipeline/idle waits. No evidence establishes the 48-hour threshold. Material progress supports continuation via registered CI, preserving the original outcome.
Terminal run 4203/watch 81 failed for source 11acd053078fb93c77bbeeea1b3189ca46793763; it was not polled again. Retained job log showed the WASM library build failed because shared implementation_plan referenced native-only sha2 and supervised_test_receipt. Previous native tests were valid evidence but did not cover this target.
Correction in existing PR 6837: native target gates around revision admission/context hashing/helpers and their native-only tests. The native exact receipt-prerequisite check is unchanged; shared plan types and pure validators remain available to the browser. Independent Sol/medium source audit found no concrete blocker. Actual worker cargo build --locked --offline --lib --target wasm32-unknown-unknown --no-default-features --features hydrate passed, as did formatting and all nine focused native plan tests. Full prior native suite and isolated recovery database evidence remain applicable. Disposable check container/source volume were removed; shared bounded cache retained.

All five operator workers actually pulled matching immutable image sha256:376beb9fd20cbaf4e4bc1d3c1455a53deda216eeeba72289487c29e5b0bdcfac, are ready with zero restarts on the designated worker host. Non-root login verified pytest 7.2.1/PyYAML 6.0 and exact reviewed implementation-plan/member-workspace source hashes.
The supported rejected-review recovery preview verified candidate 5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442, original branch/PR 6694, intent version 2 and fifteen exact enrolled read-only inputs. With the pilot blocked generation 11/case 1 and no active pilot task, the stale stopped-scope disposable worker was removed; shared workspace and database were retained. Administrator-authenticated supervised-pilot-revise-rejected-review ... 11 pilot-review-sp-requirements-1790797696653692858-5584f2dc227d --execute then succeeded through native atomic admission.
Pilot is now running generation 12, still case 1. Change set is planning intent version 2; previous intent-history snapshot exists and read-back confirms original intent and candidate outcomes unchanged. Original implementation is legitimately superseded and linked to its planning successor, retaining tokens 2763105, thread 01a0f47b-eb8c-77e3-b6ab-b99223e5025b, fresh recoveries 1, exit 0 and identical result/stdout/stderr hashes. Original completed independent rejection retains tokens 585586/thread 01a0f4b7-243f-7411-95fd-a99a9702ae7e and is not replaced.
Native planner superproject-requirements-1790797696653692858-implementation-review-revision-2 was claimed 2026-10-01T01:00:26.787098Z on matching pilot pod UID 5215ee7c-7340-46ad-8667-2275cf250f69, ready/no restarts. Configured provider route is gpt-6.1-sol/high on original account; thread 01a0f4fa-cdc9-78b2-8bcc-154bde2f21d1. It is running, not yet a completed or accepted plan. Next: inspect real plan and normal implementation/review, then original DEV/TEST delivery and behavioral acceptance before awaiting_review. No second case, product deployment or accepted outcome is claimed.
Worker publication 4208 succeeded at main 82fdc60eb808b9da7de2795f080ae309464d71d8; matching worker digest sha256:376beb9fd20cbaf4e4bc1d3c1455a53deda216eeeba72289487c29e5b0bdcfac was verified. Native same-case semantic planner completed intent v2, preserving original requirements, member branches and mandatory after-deployment checks. Its successor implementation failed at 2026-10-01T01:15:15.174605Z. Actual pilot is blocked generation 13/case 1; change set failed at intent v2. PR6694 remains unmerged at published candidate 5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442; unpublished clean checkpoint f2c85fe4193b7e162f11c3abf305882a7854b95b and failed provider result/thread/accounting are retained.
RCA proved no unauthorized AI-Platform edit: its clean detached HEAD equals captured immutable snapshot e05a6b9f92d4c16c942aaed29c2b85c748696247. Legacy remote-ref containment rejected that valid single-branch snapshot. Separately, an old unowned repair marker preserved the original implementation handoff for the successor; stored v2 input was correct but the worker read the old file. The f2 checkpoint therefore does not implement the v2 validator/validationOnly scope and must not be published as v2 completion.
The saved plan also exposes execution-contract gaps: literal shell placeholders, absent normal premerge validationOnly dispatch, and a lifecycle-stage conflict. Source repair and supported same-case semantic recovery are owned by the administrator in isolated branch repair/pilot-revision-workspace-20261001 from acaa6cfaa3ce3d7dbbc2602ea870b73be69a49c3. No product DEV/TEST delivery or behavioral acceptance is claimed. Original case identities, rejection, PR, history, accounting and mandatory runtime outcome remain preserved. General automation stays throttled; no next case is admitted.
Engine PR 6839 targets dev from repair/pilot-revision-workspace-20261001. Exact source f7d90cc48673b1d2b4cc030d8b864e25e99fb073, tree fdc661a26f5b576e7d7b76f75fe741999b9fd03d; branch validation run 4209 is pending. The source fixes captured read-only snapshot integrity, task/intent/content-owned implementation inputs, conservative consumed-attempt migration for unowned legacy markers, and same-case failed-execution semantic recovery. Atomic admission preserves the original PR/published revision separately from the local checkpoint and all failed result/history/accounting. Worker claim verifies the actual retained clean checkout and pinned dependencies before preparation or model invocation. Independent review is bound to the complete semantic revision history, exact intent/candidate/plan and current dependency inputs; an old approval cannot transfer to the revised case.
The prepared bounded report explicitly corrects the exact prior check-3 technical execution wording and supersedes only the added unsupported hosted-CI check-8. Original acceptance identities/stages and every original/added after-deployment check remain exact, including the real TEST receipt. No new premerge CI subsystem is implemented: available Python/pytest/PyYAML and captured consumer sources support concrete source checks, while actual schema/application/runtime behavior stays in normal DEV/TEST delivery. Candidate publication alone remains unaccepted work until fresh independent review and delivery evidence.
Authorized worker validation passed: cargo fmt --check; 491 library, 988 engine, 24 Gitea MCP and 1 Kubernetes MCP tests; isolated PostgreSQL failed-v2→v3 recovery regression including stale result/generation, revoked authority, active owner, dependency-snapshot race and preserved ledger/PR/history; actual locked WASM hydrate build in 2m15s. Initial test-import and old-fixture assumptions were corrected; runtime guards were not weakened. Sol medium frozen-source audit accepted the final safety contracts. Requested model/effort routing is known; actual agent model/allowance telemetry is unavailable. Temporary test/database containers, source volume and network were removed; existing shared worker build cache retained.
Live state is still blocked generation 13/case 1, intent v2 failed. PR6694 is unmerged; published5584 and unpublishedf2 remain preserved. The new repair is not yet integrated or deployed, and original product behavior is not accepted. Next: consume terminal branch4209 evidence, integrate unchanged reviewed source into dev, verify normal engine/matching-worker delivery, then preview/execute supported same-case execution-contract recovery and trace original work through independent review, DEV/TEST delivery and all original runtime outcomes to awaiting_review. No next case or TheWell production action is admitted. Runtime review and rework estimates are appended to the existing restricted checkpoint; prior cumulative gaps are preserved and scheduled waits excluded.
Terminal branch run4209/watch85 succeeded for f7d90cc48673b1d2b4cc030d8b864e25e99fb073. PR6839 was merged into dev at 421d3310023283b7b8f351f83a7e623e4ca76481. Remote integration and tree fdc661a26f5b576e7d7b76f75fe741999b9fd03d were verified equal to the independently reviewed/tested source. Normal immutable candidate run4210 was created for that exact dev SHA and is awaiting terminal evidence. No completed run was polled.
Live original pilot remains blocked generation13/case1 and change set failed intentv2; failed local checkpoint and unmerged PR6694 remain preserved. Development source integration is complete; engine deployment, matching worker and original DEV/TEST behavioral acceptance are not yet verified for this repair. Next steps remain actual normal delivery/provenance, matching-worker verification, supported same-case recovery and the original outcome gates before awaiting_review. TheWell production and general automation stops remain effective. The restricted checkpoint carries current state and another approximately three active parent minutes; prior cumulative gaps and idle-wait exclusions are retained.
Terminal candidate run 4210/watch 86 succeeded for dev 421d3310023283b7b8f351f83a7e623e4ca76481; the completed run was not polled. Both external deployment-provenance APIs and frontend build-revision files now identify candidate 421d3310023283b7b8f351f83a7e623e4ca76481-4210-1. Engine TEST deployed at 02:14:07 UTC; production at 02:14:38 UTC. Backend digest sha256:423f18fbc5b8312561410f8b012996e78aa02fb36b12b0db78b8f01500fa89f7, frontend digest sha256:df0225cc54f8bfb6b5bd281043ed5a7dfe901bdc47135acb97265f0ce2050125. Production generation 2633 and TEST engine generation 64 each have one ready replica. Actual production pod autocoder-engine-75c94dfd58-zr4wz reports the matching backend image.
Current main 8d2e4d7e1ccb88a17e89f72f974c178934202ee3 and dev have the unchanged reviewed tree fdc661a26f5b576e7d7b76f75fe741999b9fd03d. After verifying current API main and absence of an existing publication for that revision, the existing publish-worker-image.yaml workflow was dispatched with exact source revision 421d3310023283b7b8f351f83a7e623e4ca76481 (HTTP 204). Immutable run 4213 is bound to main 8d2e4d7e1ccb88a17e89f72f974c178934202ee3; scheduled pipeline waiting follows. Actual selected worker remains previous digest sha256:376beb9fd20cbaf4e4bc1d3c1455a53deda216eeeba72289487c29e5b0bdcfac until publication is verified.
Read-only database evidence still shows original pilot blocked/generation13/case1, change set failed/intent2, and revised implementation failed with provider exit0. No same-case recovery was admitted during this continuation, no second case admitted, and no original TheWell DEV/TEST delivery or behavioral acceptance is claimed. Repository-managed mounted flags remain background automation false, implementation workers false, supervised pilot true, operator-chat workers false; no flags were changed. TheWell production remains protected. Next: verify actual matching worker, then preview/execute the supported same-case execution-contract recovery with preserved report/checkpoint and trace fresh review plus original DEV/TEST outcomes to awaiting_review.
Runtime: approximately five additional parent active minutes; prior cumulative gaps retained and scheduled pipeline idle excluded. No evidence establishes the 48-hour threshold.
Terminal worker publication 4213/watch87 succeeded for main 8d2e4d7e1ccb88a17e89f72f974c178934202ee3 (completed run not polled). Production engine generation2634 selects immutable worker sha256:7be2ae55c43e6a124fbbfb6d0a4dc45b8d0c433af9fc39122a10080aba2f198c. A bounded non-root, read-only worker-host inspection checked five critical source-file hashes against the reviewed tree. The retained feature head f2c85fe4193b7e162f11c3abf305882a7854b95b was clean and descended from published 5584f2dc227d825387bee27aca0b9ceca6247442; fetch/push repository identities were sanitized before logging. All15 captured checkout HEADs matched exactly and were clean, including AI-Platform at the workspace root. Worker NVMe available466.78Gi. Inspection pods were removed and their logs retained in restricted task evidence; the first inspection assumed AI-Platform was a child directory, then corrected that inspection path without changing work.
Supported execution-contract preview and authenticated execution succeeded. The same pilot advanced blocked13→running14/case1 and intent2→3; old implementation result/thread/usage and f2 source checkpoint were preserved, PR6694 remained the published5584 candidate, and native read-only planner superproject-requirements-1790797696653692858-implementation-review-revision-2-implementation-execution-revision-3 was queued. The existing stopped pilot pod still used previous worker digest376beb. Before its inactive-only removal precondition could succeed it restarted and claimed the planner at02:29:29.927366UTC. Old code failed repository preparation at02:30:08.764223UTC with Read-only source input changed or differs from its captured revision, before a model thread, result, exit code or token usage. The controller blocked the pilot atgeneration15/case1. A attempted pause against oldgeneration14 correctly rejected the generation conflict and did not change state.
Root cause: ensure_supervised_pilot_worker accepted any same-name nonterminal pod without reconciling desired image/configuration. Supported recovery admission made queued work claimable before that pod could be refreshed. Additional source review found that ranked lease listing can omit the pilot's exact worker, and idle deletion must fence concurrent claims before re-reading authoritative task ownership. Existing artifact/continuation/resume commands do not requeue a pre-provider repository_preparation_failed planning task; re-admitting semantic intent would consume a correction and lose the precise transport/preparation boundary.
After the failed task had no running owner and the old pod was again inactive, only that temporary stale pod was deleted. A fresh read via a matching-image ready operator worker reverified all15 captured checkout heads, the full clean set, and f2 selected branch: no source loss or reset. Pilot remains blocked15/case1 and intent3. Current repair source is isolated under repair/pilot-worker-image-20261001 from dev421d; focused Luna implementation handles exact-worker lease reconciliation/claim fencing and a supported one-time same-task pre-provider retry, with Sol independent contract review. Planned prearm shares the existing configured worker spec across recovery commands and observes the corrected pod while pilot remains blocked, before any queued/running admission. No task result/accounting reset, new semantic intent, second case, new identity/permissions or paid route is authorized by this work. Temporary validation containers/database/network/sourcevolume are bounded on existing worker dind and will be cleaned after validation. Original TheWell DEV/TEST runtime outcomes remain unverified.
The reviewed repair is source af5a901b8e39cc096a3aad0fb58c96c2fb42871d, tree bca009d07f0e4fec6e4e9309a3b43a927d75889e, based on development 421d3310023283b7b8f351f83a7e623e4ca76481. PR6841 targets dev. Exact branch validation run4214 is the next scheduled dependency; no new engine or worker deployment is claimed.
The controller reconciles all pilot pod identities/configuration before exposing queued work, drains an exact lease under the production claim lock, rechecks authoritative running owners before retirement, and waits for a fresh observation of deletion. A stale already-draining busy pod remains pending; it is not readiness proof. Current-config prearming is shared by recovery/resume/next and does not enable general automation. The supported one-time preparation retry keeps task, intent3, case1, immutable checkpoint and source history, rejecting provider-consumed, stale, revoked, concurrently changed or already-retried candidates. The narrow ledger recovery preserves the prior zero-consumption context and only settles later attributable consumption once.
Worker-host evidence: formatting passed; full native tests passed (491 library, 994 engine, 24 Gitea MCP, 1 Kubernetes MCP; 113 database tests ignored in that run). Two actual isolated PostgreSQL fixtures passed: same-task retry/CAS/source/intent/accounting preservation, and the production claim race refusing a draining lease then accepting the same eligible task online. Actual WASM hydrate build passed in7.45seconds. All ten changed file hashes matched the tested source. Temporary test containers, source volume and network were removed and absence checked; existing build cache retained. Test-process automation overrides applied only to the isolated claim fixture, not runtime flags.
Review found and corrected cross-account fencing, deferred deletion proof, malformed ownership, stale draining readiness, SQL String type casts and fixture FK/resource assumptions. Initial compile/test invocation and fixture failures remain recorded in bounded evidence; final checks passed after concrete corrections. Independent requested Sol/medium source review plus parent review retained; actual model/allowance telemetry unavailable.
Fresh production read confirms pilot blocked15/case1; the same intent3 planner remains failed/repository_preparation_failed without provider thread/result/usage. Qdrant retained f2, PR6694 and all captured snapshots are preserved. Next after branch CI is reviewed development integration, normal immutable candidate delivery, matching worker publication, then the supported retry of that same planner and fresh normal review/DEV/TEST/original behavior acceptance. No next case or TheWell production promotion is admitted. Engine repair completion remains pending that original transition and outcome proof.
The terminal event for branch validation4214/watch88 succeeded at exact reviewed source af5a901b8e39cc096a3aad0fb58c96c2fb42871d; the completed run was not polled. PR6841 was verified open, mergeable and unchanged against development baseline421d, then merged through the provider with that exact head. Remote development is 79ddefeede02bc9455c3884a8fb123b5414211d4, tree bca009d07f0e4fec6e4e9309a3b43a927d75889e, identical to the reviewed and worker-tested source tree. Exact immutable candidate4215 on dev is the next registered dependency.
This is verified development integration, not deployment or original-case acceptance. The original pilot remains blocked15/case1/intent3 pending corrected engine delivery and matching worker publication; no next case, runtime flag change or TheWell production promotion was admitted. Continue through deployment provenance, same-task preparation retry and the original normal DEV/TEST behavior acceptance.
Terminal candidate4215/watch89 succeeded for 79ddefeede02bc9455c3884a8fb123b5414211d4; the completed run was not polled. Both live TEST and production /api/deployment-provenance and /pkg/build-revision.txt identify that exact source and candidate 79ddefeede02bc9455c3884a8fb123b5414211d4-4215-1. TEST deployment time03:37:59Z; production03:38:24Z. Actual backend pod autocoder-engine-674fb84875-m7kq2 is ready with that configured image and runtime imageID; observed deployment generation2635 equals2635. An initial inspection assertion confused the container config digest field with the manifest digest; corrected inspection compared configured image and runtime imageID, with no source/runtime change.
Remote main cdcc80fd4023dfebe225acdeda7a3fec1060af66 has the reviewed dev/source tree bca009d07f0e4fec6e4e9309a3b43a927d75889e. The normal worker-publication workflow was dispatched at main with exact deployed source79ddefee, HTTP204; immutable run4218 is the next registered dependency. The workflow itself rechecks live source and main tree before selecting its built worker image and retains its existing serialization/rollback route. No new identity, permission or runtime flag was introduced.
Fresh database reads retain blocked15/case1, the same failed pre-provider intent3 planner, no provider artifacts. Engine deployment alone does not prove repaired task execution. After worker4218, verify its actual selected digest/source and current pilot worker configuration, then invoke the supported same-task preparation retry while preserving all checkpoint/history/intent/outcomes. Original product DEV/TEST delivery, actual Backend gRPC/rotation/redeploy outcomes and the awaiting_review boundary remain pending; no next case or TheWell production promotion.
Worker4218/watch90 terminal success was consumed without polling the completed run. Selected worker image is gitea.app.lan/autocoder/autocoder-engine@sha256:bbe04fa8b894fa775404febc856b44faa7c04e6bb280699b1d7a095cf263fbfa; engine rollout generation2636 is observed and ready. Current worker runtime source hashes match all seven reviewed production files, and ready operator worker pods select that same digest.
The supported supervised-pilot-retry-preparation preview passed current candidate checks at blocked generation15 and returned worker_pending. Its first authenticated execution created the current-config pilot pod while keeping task/case admission unchanged. Fresh observation confirmed autocoder-agent-pilot-c98913a3-5d514153, UID 42789a8e-54c2-4a5d-99c1-4fbed1c00bbd, on the designated worker with the exact digest, canonical instruction/protocol/storage/resource labels. The second execution consumed the one-time retry atomically: same task queued, pilot running16/case1, intent3 unchanged, one preparation_retry_queued event retained. The old pre-provider failure remains in typed retry and event evidence; no semantic replan was added.
Actual claim03:50:24.669674Z is owned by that fresh pod, whose runtime imageID equals the configured digest. Native Codex app-server processes execute in the original retained workspace, and task thread 01a0f595-c7fe-7ce1-877d-32f1928a6bdb is recorded. This is live proof that the previous preparation blocker advanced through the reviewed source/snapshot guards into provider execution. The planner is still running; no completed plan, implementation, review verdict, product delivery or original deployed acceptance is claimed.
Read-only acceptance-route audit identified a Backend admin plan endpoint backed by Qdrant CountAsync, requiring an existing authenticated application admin user/group and non-production pool. Pipeline394 observationOnly and generic readiness are deployment/config evidence, not actual Backend gRPC Count. This source finding is pending current deployed-revision/actor verification; no new app identity/permission or product feature is authorized by it. Continue the original managed case, retain all outcome checks and pause at awaiting_review before another selection.
The same retried intent3 planner completed04:08:53.507427Z, exit0, provider thread 01a0f595-c7fe-7ce1-877d-32f1928a6bdb, total tokens1945346, immutable result digest 2f51d99a4700487b57ac70737259107d. Its one retained usage row settled once with attributable token-based application accounting estimate1589709micros and basis observed-token-estimate; prior_preprovider_attempt retains the original no-provider context. Reservation settled. This estimate is not evidence of an actual paid charge; no paid credential, permission or fallback was enabled.
Normal engine handoff started successor superproject-requirements-1790797696653692858-implementation-review-revision-2-implementation-execution-revision-3-implementation, thread 01a0f5a6-79ac-7b72-8c69-04d9b806aa88; change set implementing, intent3. Its checkpoint remains f2. Structured comparison confirms every original after_deployment check is byte/value-equivalent; current plan retains check9 receipt and replaces only unsupported technical prerequisites. The native source validator does not pretend parsed/fake-schema checks are real deployed acceptance. All15 checkouts were rechecked exact and clean before the successor, and AI-Platform root remains clean during current implementation. Current authenticated provider reads confirm captured Backend devfd373989/test157ad86a and Frontend dev0f4d31b6/testabadeefe refs.
For original check5/check6, current documented ax_julian Azure DevOps read succeeds. Existing Microsoft Graph delegated authentication is available and the host account matches logical APP_TheWell_ADM after the source-configured C_SVC_THW_ prefix is stripped. That is identity evidence, not a successful application call; actual deployed prefix/gateway/fixture still need verification. Azure CLI requesting the existing TheWell user_impersonation scope returns AADSTS65001 (missing client consent). No new consent, identity or permission was granted, and no token or protected group details were logged. An asynchronous question asks for an already-approved application sign-in route or capable owner, without credentials. Only dependent application acceptance waits on that missing access; current implementation continues.
The source audit also found existing startup deep checks call genuine Backend gRPC Count when enabled and at least one pool exists. Safe existing logs may supplement proof, but readiness alone, disabled/pending checks, empty pool inventory, and a standalone client cannot replace the preserved authenticated endpoint and repeated post-redeploy DTO checks. Do not trigger extra restarts/auto-heal merely for evidence. Original case, independent review, DEV/TEST delivery and awaiting_review boundary remain the active objective; no next case or TheWell production mutation.
The normal preserved intent3 implementation remains running on the corrected pilot worker, same case1. Its source-only authenticated-service validator passed and the latest worker unittest run passed58 tests. No new product revision, independent verdict, DEV/TEST delivery or application behavior acceptance has been claimed yet. AI-Platform parent checkout remained clean.
Read-only exact application endpoint probes returned401 for both https://thewell-dev.skan.com/api/admin/qdrant/reindex/plan and the TEST equivalent, establishing reachable authentication challenges rather than authenticated behavior. Current exact Backend DEV fd373989cd7a0f3376f68b52ab187ee085c35a59 and TEST157ad86a023dba5122993c5be68178fea4a826d2 source retains the original plan endpoint. Existing authenticated GET /api/datapools/for-user and permitted GET /api/datapools/{dataPoolId}/documents can select a small existing fixture in memory through an already-authorized app actor; no upload/reindex/paid probe is necessary. Do not retain raw private response metadata. The pending existing sign-in-route/owner question remains the application access dependency; no new identity or consent was granted.
The bounded current-source acceptance-preparation delegation reported about8 active minutes (estimate; provider/model/token telemetry unavailable). Parent independently checked exact source routes and bounded engine receipt schema. No provider/application mutation or scoped-stop violation observed. This continuation adds to preserved accounting; prior gaps remain.
The preserved intent3 implementation completed normally at04:32:46Z (claim04:08:37Z), exit0, same thread01a0f5a6-79ac-7b72-8c69-04d9b806aa88, tokens4110970, result digestb69f6fb8465641183acf27702c862079. The engine published exact8ca01880e99695755136663d7f52c741abf9658a to the existing feature branch/PR6694. The original case1 and lineage were retained.
Fresh independent review pilot-review-sp-requirements-1790797696653692858-v3-8ca01880e996-bf5a209e7f47 completed with approval and medium risk, exit0, tokens997174, native gpt-6.1-sol/high. Its context exactly matched the current plan/intent3/published revision and carried semantic revision history plus the engine receipt prerequisite. The reviewer independently passed58 unittest and63 pytest checks, source validation bound to Qdrant8ca and Backendfd373989, and diff checks. Original check4/5/6/9 objects and procedures were unchanged. Runtime/schema/receipt obligations were explicitly retained as downstream requirements; approval does not establish actual application behavior. Native review claim-to-finish6.3347 minutes, implementation24.1422 minutes; these are accumulated task runtime, token counts are telemetry rather than billed spend.
The engine completed PR6694 into dev as exactd17e1e8223a4faca4c567b00ed0fb9d54f6e8bf5. Azure definition352 run26235 on that exact DEV revision succeeded. Its actual Deploy stage, real nonproduction effective-schema step/publication, namespace-owned key verification, namespace claim, apply, sidecar build/atomic upload, and lock release all succeeded. The schema artifact is qdrant-schema-validation-26235. TEST stamp/observe/receipt-publication steps correctly skipped on DEV. This terminal run's evidence has been consumed; do not repoll it. These observations establish normal DEV pipeline steps, not the original key-rotation/actual-Backend-gRPC/post-redeploy acceptance gates.
Normal TEST promotion opened PR6695 targeting test, synthetic source db387ac10981e9baa10230bdf53c134e55606377 against target8f67846c66e867243e7dad42ae482a2929120f3b, and Azure reported conflicts. The engine automatically queued and claimed ordinary same-case recovery attempt1, task superproject-test-merge-recovery-sp-requirements-1790797696653692858-54e50699-4b60-467a-a9b9-74300c1b04cd-db387ac10981e9baa10230bdf53c134e55606377-8f67846c66e867243e7dad42ae482a2929120f3b, thread01a0f5c7-b28c-7570-bebe-ccd09a5aab5f. Pilot is still running16/case1; no second case selected, no manual product merge substitute used. Continue the normal recovery, register the exact TEST run when dispatched, then retain original DEV/TEST behavior gates and awaiting_review. Application sign-in-route/owner remains pending; no consent/permissions added.
Normal recovery completed at04:50:35Z, exit0, tokens1163298, retained result/source, native runtime5.685 minutes from claim04:44:54Z. The engine published two-parent merge541d739e664250205209fce39cd03393be938062 into existingPR6695 and completed it into TEST045b6e5bb0b7e6e3f80ee49a75e681aefbf4b9a8. Definition352 run26236 at that exactTEST SHA succeeded; real schema validation/publication, apply, sidecar installation, source stamping, lock release, observed receipt collection and TEST receipt publication all succeeded. It published schema artifactqdrant-schema-validation-26236 and genuineqdrant-test-receipt-26236. The engine retrieved and validated that bounded artifact and recorded observed Qdrant image digestsha256:15767b2588de3d87188fd634dae4db94cf4e3bda864474db07da6eda90c1a40e, TEST revision045b, provider/run/stage identity and deployment timestamp04:53:21Z. These terminal provider results have been consumed; do not repoll them. Original authentication/key rotation/actualBackendgRPC/redeployment acceptance is still incomplete.
At04:55:05Z the pilot stopped before any acceptance task was admitted: Unthrottled worker task enqueue returned no task. State isblocked17/case1, CSintent3 awaiting_operator_acceptance. Independent source RCA and parent live-state verification found a direct contradiction: dedicatedpilotacceptance requiresCS awaiting_operator_acceptance|completed, while generic capturedSuperProject-intent SQL excludes bothstates. Account/budget rejection would emit distincterrors. This is an engine admission bug, separate from the existing application-sign-in access question.
Focused repair worktree /home/ax_julian/temp/autocoder-pilot-acceptance-admission-20261001, branchrepair/pilot-acceptance-admission-20261001, base79ddef/treebca. The atomic exactCS/project/intent row lock is retained. Only exactkind superproject-pilot-acceptance with matching nonempty pilotownership/project/selectedchange/case can be admitted in the two intendedobservation states; everyothercapturedtask retains its terminal exclusions. No budget, application permission or worker administrator access is granted. Added actualisolatedDB regression for allowed held/completed states, predelivery/stale/wrongcase/project/unowned denial, genericplan denial and duplicate completedtask result/history preservation. Parent caught and corrected fixture lifetime/duplicate expectations beforecompilation. Source formatting passed; worker-only compilation/DB regression is in progress, not yetpassed.

The final two-file repair is committed as 9bb0175fbf07ba272f869efaa293cfb44ec54436 in development PR 6843. Only the exact pilot acceptance kind can enter the delivered/held states, through an explicitly pilot-scoped store and matching current intent, project, selected change set and case. The existing atomic pilot INSERT trigger retains stop ordering; no duplicate state fence or production data mutation was introduced.
Independent final review accepted the source. Three real isolated PostgreSQL tests passed on drg-k8s-worker-01, including allowed states, stale intent, unscoped identity, stopped pilots, ordinary terminal-task denial and finished-task result/history preservation. Pinned repository formatter passed; native tests used the already installed Rust 1.98.1, leaving configured CI as the delivery gate. Worker/controller hashes match. Bounded logs are retained under the protected administrator evidence directory. All four task-owned Docker fixture resources were removed and verified absent; the existing shared build cache was retained.
Review corrections are preserved: the parent initially changed duplicate-task behavior incorrectly and restored rejection after the database test proved the task-id uniqueness contract. A reviewer stop-race finding was withdrawn after verification of the authoritative locking trigger. The explicit scoped-caller finding was implemented and retested. This was reviewed rework, not a first-pass result.
Gitea branch validation run4219 is pinned to the exact commit above. Integration/deployment and matching worker publication remain pending. Pilot17 remains blocked on original case1; no acceptance task or next case has been admitted. Original authenticated Backend gRPC Count acceptance still requires an existing approved application actor; DEV/TEST deployment and a genuine TEST receipt do not satisfy that behavior gate.
Runtime accounting preserves earlier gaps: additional parent active work since the 04:16 checkpoint is estimated at 45 minutes, implementation child 10 minutes, source review and follow-up 7 minutes; actual telemetry is unavailable. Idle/CI waiting excluded, no new paid fallback or increased spending authority.
Terminal event4219/watch91 succeeded on reviewed source 9bb0175fbf07ba272f869efaa293cfb44ec54436; the completed run was not polled. PR6843 was merged through the provider into development d335e31c0475dc87d82efb7127729ea274cb3a4f. Fetched development tree df2a9396c4e153d37afe3d8b71e7b1776bfbec9d exactly matches the independently reviewed implementation tree. Normal immutable candidate run4220 was dispatched on that exact development commit and is the next scheduled dependency. No pilot resume, acceptance or next-case admission occurred; engine deployment/matching worker verification and original DEV/TEST behavior remain required. Additional administrator active runtime this continuation estimated at 3 minutes; earlier cumulative gaps and all stops retained.
Terminal candidate4220/watch92 succeeded on development d335e31c0475dc87d82efb7127729ea274cb3a4f; the completed run was not polled. Actual TEST and production backend provenance and frontend build revisions both report that source and candidate d335e31c0475dc87d82efb7127729ea274cb3a4f-4220-1. Current pilot remains blocked17/case1, intent3, awaiting_operator_acceptance. Its previous worker image is still selected, so no resume was attempted. Normal worker publication4223 was dispatched on main with the exact deployed source input above and is the next registered dependency. Candidate backend runtime contains binaries rather than source; an attempted source hash read returned absent paths, and Dockerfile inspection confirmed that image contract. Matching full worker source hashes will be checked after publication. No claim of original acceptance or next-case admission. Additional parent active runtime estimate4minutes, earlier gaps and idle exclusions preserved.
Worker publication4223/watch93 succeeded on main cc9bfe53c932d5002e4c6cd5b4c88cb5b803b42e; no completed-run polling.
