At operator request, the pre-2026-07-17 Event Horizon LLM_API_KEY value was recovered from local cluster storage history without printing or persisting the plaintext. It was applied to the repository Actions secret and live Kubernetes secret, and the deployment was restarted.
Natural retry traffic returned HTTP 401 for both player_rule_check and persona_decision, proving that the historical credential is no longer accepted by the provider. The known-working 2026-07-17 credential was immediately restored; the deferred turn then completed rule check, persona decisions, perception review, narration, and item-state evaluation successfully.
The operator subsequently supplied the current basic-plan credential and its non-secret key ID ad981ff472a558c16a8265dbe1daf1455ab0e967ce33857cabf3e768e5f26828. The credential value itself is not recorded here.
