¶ 2026-06-27 Bodylog profile chat panel layout fix
A follow-up Bodylog deployment fixed the profile chat open-state layout after the UI could collapse into confusing status and close text instead of presenting the full chat surface.
- Repository: BodyLog/Bodylog.dev
- Branch merged to main: fix/profile-chat-panel-layout
- Main commit: 36dc6fce366e
- Deployed image: gitea.app.lan/bodylog/bodylog.dev:sha-36dc6fce366e
- Removed the separate bottom launcher while the chat panel is open.
- Kept a single close control in the profile chat panel header.
- Changed the open chat panel to a fixed-height flex layout with a scrollable messages area and visible input/status area.
- Added regression coverage so the confusing Close chat launcher text does not return.
- Local frontend tests: npm test, 47 passed.
- Local frontend build: npm run build, passed with the existing chunk-size warning.
- Kubernetes rollout: deployment/bodylog successfully rolled out.
- Runtime image: gitea.app.lan/bodylog/bodylog.dev:sha-36dc6fce366e.
- Runtime health check: https://bodylog.dev/healthz returned ok.
- Served assets contain Profile chat, Ask Bodylog, fixed-position shell CSS, open-shell state, and flex-column panel CSS.
- Served assets no longer contain Close chat or Hide agent launcher text.
No manual Kubernetes mutation was used for the application rollout; deployment occurred through the repository autodeploy workflow after pushing main.
