❗“Which muscle is this for?”
→ Visualize it flexing before you move.
→ Touch it if needed (especially for biceps, chest, lats, delts).
→ Say it in your mind: “This is for my [muscle]. Nothing else matters.”
❗“Am I letting other joints cheat?”
→ Lock down elbows/shoulders if not meant to move.
→ Don’t let momentum, hips, or neck rob tension.
→ Example: Curls = elbows fixed. Pull-ups = scapula engaged.
❗“Is the muscle working at the bottom?”
→ Don’t yank. Stretch it under control.
→ Use slow, deliberate movement to load it before firing.
❗“Am I contracting as hard as possible?”
→ At the top of every rep, flex like it’s a pose.
→ Think blood pressure spike. Hold for 1 second if possible.
❗“Am I just moving the weight?”
→ 1–2s concentric (lift), 2–3s eccentric (lower)
→ Controlled = growth
→ Fast = ego. Ego is weak.
❗“Am I running away from the burn?”
→ Lean into it. Burn is feedback.
→ Push through 3–5 more reps after the burn begins. That’s where growth hides.
❗“Did I leave tension behind?”
→ Don’t just drop the weight. End on a hard contraction or slow negative.
→ Bonus: Isometric hold to finish = guaranteed mind-muscle wiring.
“This isn’t just a set. This is forging. Every rep stretches skin, pushes blood, reshapes bone. I’m not here to survive. I’m here to dominate.”
Use this checklist like a fighter pilot’s pre-launch sequence.
No movement is wasted. No rep is “just a rep.”
Everything is a strike toward that freakish, sculpted form you’re chasing.
